I founded the Husky Table Tennis Club at the University of Washington in 2003 and have been President since then.

Under my leadership the club has become a recognized Club Sport, secured a dedicated facility for table tennis, started an alumni association, ran a table tennis class program sanctioned by the university, published a table tennis journal (on-line so far), raised funds by working at part-time and temporary jobs, produced table tennis videos, organized campus-wide and area-wide tournaments, and held special exhibitions featuring Top Players in the US and the Chinese National Team. The club has been mentioned many times in the campus newspaper. For the latest article, visit thedaily.washington.edu/2008/4/15/uw-table-tennis-bounces-its-way-nationals/

I have been involved with the NCTTA since 2004. I have personally put together teams that won the Northwest division and traveled to Nationals 3 out of the 4 years that our team has competed in the NCTTA. I have also recruited two new member schools who joined the NCTTA during this time.  This past year, our team placed 11th, our best performance to date.

Given my long-standing commitment to the Olympic sport of table tennis, I believe that I am qualified to be involved with the NCTTA on a regular basis.
