This is my formal statement of intent that I'd like to be elected for
the position of athlete representative.
I should be elected as athlete representative mainly because of my
experience and wide background in table tennis. I was the founder,
president, manager, and webmaster for Ashland University's table tennis
team this past year. I've been playing in clubs for the past five years
with Ashland University and North Olmsted when I was in high school.
This summer, I'll be playing with the Cleveland Table Tennis Association
as well. Also, aside for playing in the NCTTA, I also play in USATT
turnaments. Besides my playing background, I am a certified World
Ratings Event Director, USATT coach, and USATT umpire. I am also
familiar with Zermelo Tournament software, Cantor Event software, and
Rene' Neilsen Club software. I also have ties with Killerspin, as my
Ashland University team is sponsored by them and my Ashland University
club is affiliated with them. Besides Killerspin, my club is affiliated
with Newgy and the Table Tennis Pioneers. Furthermore, I check my e-mail
all the time, I love to talk and help with anyone interested in table
tennis, and I would love to represent the NCTTA athletes next year.
Because of my diverse background in the world of table tennis, I believe
that I am a great for the position of athlete representative. I know the
sport and I know that I can make a difference.
Sincerely,
James Roeder
