NCTTA Fall 2005 Player of the Semester: Tom Yost

Tom Yost has been playing table tennis for about 9 years. A former division director for the Ohio Division, Tom plays out of Shawnee State University. When he’s not playing table tennis, Tom balances courses in computer engineering and sings in the school choir. Despite his teams standing(0-7), Yost has managed to defeat each teams number one player in the entire division for the past 3 years! He has an amazing NCTTA career singles record of 25-1, beating all other school’s number one players during each match-up. He has also achieved a career-best rating of 2246.

In October 2004, he teamed with division member Francois Charvet of Ohio State University to win section 4 of the North American Teams Championships in Baltimore, MD! Congratulations to Tom Yost, NCTTA player of the semester for Fall 2005.
